Taking part in a group MBCT course is not always feasible or desirable. In individual MCBT, the therapist and client work together to apply cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) methods alongside mindfulness practices. One to one teaching enables me to tailor the course to your individual needs.
The course is structured over 9 sessions which are usually one hour each (an initial orientation session and then 8 MBCT sessions). This is offered as a SKYPE call. The main focus is on cultivating mindfulness awareness to experience rather than exploring your past.
